Post Details – Helper, Track Maintainer, Hospital Attendant, Assistant Pointsman, Gateman, Portar/Hamal/ Sweeper cum Porter

Educational Qualification –

Helper – 10th pass along with National Apprenticeship Certificaterecognized by NCVT or 10th pass with ITI in relevant trade recognized by NCVT

Track Maintainer – 10th pass along with National Apprenticeship Certificaterecognized by NCVT or 10th pass with ITI in relevant trade

Hospital Attendant – 10th pass or ITI recognized by NCVT  or NAC  granted by NCVT

Assistant Pointsman – 10th pass or ITI recognized by NCVT  or NAC  granted by NCVT

Gateman – 10th pass or ITI recognized by NCVT  or NAC  granted by NCVT

Portar/Hamal/ Sweeper cum Porter – 10th pass or ITI recognized by NCVT  or NAC  granted by NCVT

Pay Scale – Rs.18000/- per month

Important Information-

i) Candidates awaiting final results of final exam of prescribed qualification should not apply

ii) Candidates with Degree/Diplome in Engineering in lieu of ITI or Course Completed Act Apprentice are not eligible for Technician post

iii) Candidates with Graduate Act Apprentice in lieu of ITI or Course Completed Act Apprentice are not eligible

iv) Candidates applying against the Course Completed Act Apprentice (CCAA) category must be trained under Railway Establishment only

Physical Standards –

Male – 

i) Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 02 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down

ii) Should be able to run 1000 meters in 04 minutes 15 seconds in one chance

Female –

i) Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 02 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down

ii) Should be able to run 1000 meters in 05 minutes 40 seconds in one chance

Stages of Exam

There will be three stages

1) Computer based test (CBT )

2) Physical Efficiency Test ( PET )

3) Document Verification

Negative Marking

There will be negative marking in exam. 1/3 of the marks will be deducted for wrong answer.

Who Can’t Apply

Those waiting for the final result of last group d exam can’t apply.

Candidates have to upload the scanned copy following documents st the time of online application :

i) Passport size photograph with white/ light colour background, 35×45 mm dimesion , date and name printed in it, 100 dpi , JPEG/JPG Format, 15-40 KB size

ii) Scanned copy of SC/ST certificate , JPG/JPEG FORMAT ,50-100KB size
